If any food is being produced or sold or is for sale, it is clearly rotten, rotted or infested with insects or due to any other reason and is inedible for any other reason, when such food is kept until a report is received. If the situation is likely to deteriorate further, the food inspector may immediately bury, burn or destroy the said foodstuff by keeping a representative of the local administration or municipality or village development committee.
